Alvimedica announced a merger with CID (‘Carbostent & Implantable Devices’), a well- established and trusted medical devices company from Italy. Joined together under the brand name Alvimedica we aim to create ‘The New European Alternative’ in the global market for medical devices. As of now Alvimedica is the proud owner of two Centers of Excellence in R&D across three different European sites: one in Catalca, Turkey and one in Saluggia, Italy. Another plus: the CID product portfolio is fully complementary to the cardiovascular product line currently marketed by Alvimedica – a great fit that will help our new company grow in the Cardiovascular and Endovascular markets. Alvimedica’s commitment to improving surgical procedures through innovative products is driven by our sincere care for patients’ quality of life and our goal to positively impact clinical outcomes.
